ALIEN Water Inline Spinners Catch a TON of Bass!!

ALIEN colored water and MEPPS Inline Spinners catch a ton of largemouth bass! I don’t know why people do not use them as much as I do. If you watch my videos, you know I catch tanks on these lures. Anyway, if this pushes you over the edge, and finally breaks you into purchasing some of these, the one I was using was a Mepps Aglia #3 Long, Silver Blade with white and red bucktail (there’s normally more bucktail on the lure, except when you use it and catch a ton of fish on it, it starts to fall out).

The rod I was using in this video was 6’10” medium fast action spinning rod.
The reel I was using was a size 30 spinning reel.
The line I was using was KastKing Superpower braid, 15lb test, Green.

More videos to come.

Bass Fishing New Years Day GoPro Chesty and UK Pro Pole 54 HD Test

I went out to one of my favorite spots New Years Day to test out the GoPro Chesty and UK Pro Pole 54 HD. Gearing up for 2017.

I like the chesty. I mainly bought it for my trip to Cuba next month, but I am going to start using it more in my vids.

The UK Pro Pole 54 HD is for my behind, full perspective view. I have it mounted in a yak attack black pak rod holder using a rag to keep it tight. I was going to make a permanent mount on the black pak, however i can move this UK Pro Pole around to all my built in rod holders on my hobie outback by simply wrapping a rag around the handle. Very stable pole. I was previously using my yak attack stakeout pole wedged in my rear built in rod holder.

I started making vids about 6 months ago with a $60 ELE camera. Not bad, but audio sucks, hence no audio in my vids. Well, l i like making vids, so my new GoPro Hero 5 Black will arrive this week. Different angles, audio, etc. Oh the possibilities. First BASS trip shall be the locked down business park, totally unfished. Only way in is a cut in the curb, gonna need my cafe racer for this one.

Cant wait to BLAST BASS in 2017.

Bass Fishing With Underspins: Big Bass on Small Baits

Matt takes you out for a day on Clearlake throwing an underspin. With water levels receeding the fishing is more difficult than normal so Matt abandons his typical power techniques in favor of a small under spin. The results speak for themselves!

Bass fishing with an underspin is a great way to catch bass when conditions get tough. If you were on a spinnerbait or crankbait bite and the conditions get tougher consider switching to an underspin.

The key is the combination of swimbait and flashing blade. The blade causes the lure to stand out from the shad or other baitfish so the bass are more likely to eat it. If you haven’t fallen in love with the underspin, now is your time!

By far the most fun I’ve ever had fishing in a long time. I know. I’m a midwestern bass angler at heart but this was just pure insanity…I didn’t do too great of a job setting the scene but I literally had no idea Sam, Peric and I would be chasing GT’s until a few days before we left for this trip. Needless to say I was super stoked when I discovered we’d be hopping on a little boat in Bali to target quite possibly one of the strongest fish the world. Pound for pound these fish put anything else I’ve ever caught to complete shame, that includes wild steelhead, white sturgeon, barracuda, black tip shark, etc. I plan on filming a follow up video to this one soon discussing this experience as there is SO much more to story than what was told today. Anyway, hope ya’ll fish heads enjoyed. As always…keep fishing, NEVER stop!!

About Another Fishing Show:

There you were minding your own business and enjoying your warm comfortable surroundings, and somehow you ended up here watching Another Fishing Show. We know, it’s a lot to take in.

So what exactly is going on here? The truth is, Another Fishing Show is a bit of an experiment. Like a good science project, we’re trying different ideas and seeing what bubbles to the surface. We believe there is much more to fishing than just catching fish and our gut tells us we should make this our focus. We hope you agree.

We strive to tell entertaining stories about unique individuals who have a passion for fishing. We truly believe that angling is as much about people as it is about fish.

So come along as we learn what drives fishermen to go to extremes in their pursuit of the outdoor experience. Maybe we’ll even learn a little more about ourselves and why we’re so nuts about feeling a tap at the end of our line.

Greg & Pete
